Dignity. Compassion. Care.
Our residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia deserve lives rich with warmth, activity and feelings of home. This vision is shared by our entire team and is provided every day for the loved ones entrusted to our care.
We choose to keep our memory care community small, ensuring safe and vital attention. We provide ongoing, professional training for our staff to foster more compassionate, nurturing relationships. A neighborhood environment keeps our space from feeling overwhelming. At Valley View, memory care is all about interaction and engagement, with planned events, ongoing activities and scheduled outings, and support groups for residents and their families at all times.
My family and I want to be sure you are aware of how “above and beyond” your staff at Valley View Memory Care Center will go. The Memory Care Coordinator and the Executive Director, and I’m sure there are others who helped, arranged a reception for my father, who is a resident. My dad is a retired Marine Corps Sergeant Major, who served for 30 years. The team arranged for the superintendent and three cadets from the Marine Military Academy in Harlingen to participate in the reception and present my dad with a plaque thanking him for his service. My dad was overwhelmed and so touched. He couldn’t believe all the attention was for him and he had a wonderful time.
I can only imagine how busy the team members are with their regular daily duties, and for them to take the time to make this happen lets you know that you indeed have hired the right people for your organization. The daily care and attention my dad receives from them and the entire staff at Valley View is appreciated, and it’s comforting to us to know dad is safe and in good hands. – Sheree
